excerpt from the article…
Some Seattle school children are being told to be skeptical of private property rights. This lesson is being taught by banning Legos.
A ban was initiated at the Hilltop Children’s Center in Seattle. According to an article in the winter 2006-07 issue of “Rethinking Schools” magazine, the teachers at the private school wanted their students to learn that private property ownership is evil.
According to the article, the students had been building an elaborate “Legotown,” but it was accidentally demolished. The teachers decided its destruction was an opportunity to explore “the inequities of private ownership.” According to the teachers, “Our intention was to promote a contrasting set of values: collectivity, collaboration, resource-sharing, and full democratic participation.”
The children were allegedly incorporating into Legotown “their assumptions about ownership and the social power it conveys.” These assumptions “mirrored those of a class-based, capitalist society — a society that we teachers believe to be unjust and oppressive.”
They claimed as their role shaping the children’s “social and political understandings of ownership and economic equity … from a perspective of social justice.

Al Gore – Energy Hypocrite
Environmentalists claim the earth is in eminent danger. Al Gore has just won an academy award for an Inconvenient “Truth”. Now the news has broke that Gore’s mansion consumes 20 times the energy that the average American household uses.

The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization, issued a press release late Monday: Last night, Al Gore’s global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy. Gore’s mansion, [20-room, eight-bathroom] located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES).
In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home. The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average. Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year.
As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359. Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006. Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill.
Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year. “As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk to walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson. In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.

Illegal Immigration solved in six easy steps
Social services to illegal immigrants are costing you billions. Is there an easy solution to illegal immigration? You bet! Immigration solved in six easy steps
1.) Build a Fence
Start by building a fence along our borders. There is an old adage that says, "good fences make good neighbors." It is time to take this idea to the national level.
2.) Patrol the Border
Place Border Patrol and National Guard members on the border to guard the nation. National Guard = Guard the Nation. The border patrol is charged with patrolling the border. That's not too hard to understand.
3.) Stop Paying for Social Services
Stop providing tax payer funded social service to illegal aliens. We are finding it harder every year to provide social services to our own citizens. Why in the hell would we cut checks to illegal immigrants? Doesn't free money encourage illegal immigration? There are some that are offended by the idea of denying social services. There are even those that are pushing for driver's licenses and voting rights for illegal residents.
4.) Arrest Illegal Aliens.
"Law, without force, is impotent."
Blaise Pascal
Philosopher
What part of illegal is so hard to understand? Let's say I find a housing development in my area where all the doctors and lawyers live. I pick the nicest house and pitch a tent in the back yard. I break into the house and raid the freezer. Now I am cooking t-bone steaks on the gas grill. My family is enjoying the pool. How long before the police cruisers show up? The police don't just send me home, I go to jail. If we take this analogy to the national level, the police would show up and tell the home owner that he should learn to live with squatters. Hell, illegal immigrants are almost as protected as endangered species. It is time to institute some new rules. If you jump the border, you will be arrested.
5.) Send Illegal Aliens Back
Provide immediate free transportation for arrested aliens to the country in which they hold citizenship. It is time to make sure that the door swings both ways. If you jump our border, we will escort you back.
6.) Open Controlled Legal Immigration.
The United States of America is the greatest country in the world. Millions of people would like to come to America. The ideas of a "melting pot" and "land of opportunity" still ring true. Double, triple, or quadruple the number of legal immigrants today! If you are willing to submit to a background check and prove that you will support yourself, we want you! You are not a drain on society. You are an asset.
Gun Control cwilmire on 24 Feb 2007
Gun Control is a Measure of Marksmanship
Relax. Use both hands. Aim for the ten ring. Exhale. Gently squeeze the trigger. Fire! This is true gun control.
Who in their right mind would want citizens to own guns? Well How about the people who conceived, wrote, and ratified the Constitution of the United States.
James Madison, of Virginia (Author of the US Constitution):
The Constitution preserves “the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation. . . (where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” – The Federalist, No. 46
Samuel Adams, of Massachusetts:
“The said Constitution [shall] be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press, or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.” – Massachusetts’ U.S. Constitution ratification convention, 1788
Alexander Hamilton, of New York:
“[I]f circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude, that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little if at all inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their rights and those of their fellow citizens.” – The Federalist, No. 29
Thomas Paine, of Pennsylvania:
“[A]rms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. . . Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.” – Thoughts On Defensive War, 1775
Tench Coxe, of Pennsylvania:
“The militia, who are in fact the effective part of the people at large, will render many troops quite unnecessary. They will form a powerful check upon the regular troops, and will generally be sufficient to over-awe them.” – An American Citizen, Oct. 21, 1787
“Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American . . . . The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.” – The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788

I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?
So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning former Governors, and leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 & 40 alone because of profiling.
Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel doubly ashamed of themselves — if they have any such sense.
As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it: "Stupid is as stupid does."
